OGUK Medical (Oil and Gas UK Medical) - €225

Effective Offshore are now proud to be able to offer the OGUK Medical to our delegates. Formerly known as the UKOOA Medical, Effective have built and furnished their own on-site medical suite to assist new entrants and existing holders of the Medical to gain or renew Certification.

All personnel offshore and intending to work offshore must pass an Offshore Medical Examination The OGUK Offshore Medical is valid for two years.

An OGUK Offshore Medical consists of the following:

Screening:
• Completion of Patient Questionnaire
• Urinalysis - routine urine test with immediate result
• BMI - measurement of height, weight and calculation of Body Mass Index
• Near Distance and Colour Vision
• Pulse and Blood Pressure Measurement
• Lung Function Test (peak flow)
• Audiogram (hearing test)
• Drugs Test
• Consultation with a doctor
